Multispectral Image Enhancement Based on the Dark Channel Prior and Bilateral Fractional Differential Model

Compared with single-band remote sensing images, multispectral images can obtain information on the same target in different bands. By combining characteristics of each band, we clearer enhanced images; therefore, propose a image enhancement method based improved dark channel prior (IDCP) and bilateral fractional differential (BFD) model to make full use multiband information. First, original is inverted meet conditions theory. Second, according multiple bands, algorithm improved. The RGB channels are extended channels, spatial domain mask used optimize transmittance estimation it more consistent hypothesis. Then, differentiation that enhances edge details an through intensity domain. Finally, implement inversion operation final image. We apply proposed IDCP_BFD dataset conduct sufficient experiments. experimental results show superiority over relative comparison methods.
